AeroIndianews.com: What is AHA and what courses does it offer?

Gopa Dasgupta: AHA (Air Hostess Academy) is a Training institute for cabin crew and ground services for aviation sector. Basically it is an institute for training candidates for hospitality sector.


AeroIndianews.com: With the expanding growth of AHA, how many centers are you looking forward?

Gopa Dasgupta: Since 1997 AHA has established 30 centers in India. We are planning to open 10 more centers in India and about four centers abroad.


AeroIndianews.com: What makes AHA different from other aviation training academy?

Gopa Dasgupta: AHA is a pioneer in aviation training. It is a recognized ISO 9001 University. We are the official placement agents of Emirates and Omania Airlines. We had launched AHA in 1997, when there was no such trend of aviation training institutes. We have the best of faculty. We offer courses for cabin crew and ground services.


AeroIndianews.com:  What courses do you offer for the aviation sector?

Gopa Dasgupta:   We have two courses in aviation sector. A one year course, Diploma in aviation and hospitality and a 2 year course, Diploma in Hospitality and Global Aviation. The Global Aviation course is more extensive, which includes three months industrial training, stress management training and more extensive industry related trainings.


AeroIndianews.com: How many candidates from AHA have been given placement since 1997?

Gopa Dasgupta: We have placed around 5000 candidates in Cabin Crew, ground services and other hospitality sectors.
