The APAI awards at Civil Aviation Week, Airport and Airline 2007 Expo |

The Airport and Airline 2007 Expo began at New Delhi, Pragati Maidan on 26th March with the inaugural ceremony by the Guest of Honour Shri Rajiv Shukla, continued by the APAI awards. Mr. Sudhakar Reddy, the President of APAI introduced the awards and the awards were presented by the Shri Rajiv Shukla and the Chief Guest. Kingfisher Airlines was awarded as the Best Airline, Singapore Airline was awarded among the Best International Airline, Mr. Reddy stated it as “Customer Oriented Airline”. Best Full Service Airline was awarded to Jet Airways, appreciated for its “14 years of experience, safety and local connectivity”. The Best Indian Airport award was granted to Chatrapati Shivaji Airport, “A unique public and private partnership” as stated by Mr. Reddy. Air Deccan has been awarded as the Best Low Fair airline. APAI’s President applauded the beneficial contributions by the winners of the APAI awards. The award ceremony was concluded by the thanks giving speech of the president of The Society of Aerospace Studies, Mr. Pushpinder Singh Chopra. |
