Yemen's national airways Yemenia has picked over 40 Indian travel professionals to fill cabin crew positions, an air-hostess training institute said here Monday.
"It is for the first time in the Indian aviation history that an international airline has selected air hostesses and flight stewards from a single training institute," K.S. Kohli, chairman, Frankfinn Institute of Air Hostess Training, claimed.
The airline recruited 45 students of Frankfinn, of whom 20 have left for Yemen's capital Sana'a for training.
Aviation industry sources estimate there could be 4,000 cabin crew jobs up for grabs in the next few years with the aviation sector growing at over 27 percent and more airlines entering the field. |
